Coccoli means "pampered babies" in Italian. The quality of these baby clothes definitely holds true to the name, (which I'm sure is pronounce Co-CHO-lee, but in my own little mind I prefer to think of it as Coccoli like broccoli.) :)
Coccoli made two of my favorite of Fashion Baby's pajamas from her younger days (one of which I have pictured below), so I was excited to try out their day wear. The terry cloth fabric is super soft and has a great texture on the striped shirt. FB loves to feel the little ridges in the striping.
The pants are fully footed, which at first I didn't think I was going to like, but I ended up absolutely loving! Footed pants keep your babies legs so much warmer than regular pants and socks because there is no gap for air to hit baby's skin. Though these are a light to medium weight terry cloth, I felt they kept FB comfortable on a chilly day, while she had tummy time on the floor.
The shirt is in a kimono style, which is very typical for Coccoli clothes (day and night wear). It has two little brown velvet bows that you have to make sure to press down after you pull the shirt out of the dryer. (Something I clearly forgot to do before taking these pics!)
Here are one of the pairs of Coccoli pajamas that FB used to wear back in her Uncle Fester days. :) They are also in the kimono style and are made of super soft, light weight cotton with a soft red toile print. They held up beautifully to repeated washings, with the exception of the snaps. The white paint on the snaps chipped off, which was definitely detrimental to the aesthetics, and created some stress making sure that FB didn't ingest any of the chipped paint.
(You can see the chipped top snap in the second picture.)

The Low Down-
Sizing: True to size (hooray!)
Price Point: Medium-High
Quality: Very High It is part of the company's philosophy to put their clothes through rigorous quality testing and it shows. Seams are beautifully sewn, stripes are lined up perfectly, and the fabrics hold up beautifully to washings. Now if they can just get the snaps on their pajamas to measure up to everything else!
Practicality: TOPS! The footed pants keep Fashion Baby's legs warmer than any other pants and socks combo. Even with thick socks, pants can get scrunched up and baby's legs can get exposed. With these Coccoli pants, baby's legs and feet are always fully covered, which is great on those cooler days. Fashion Baby seems to love the feeling of the fabric and it holds up beautifully in the washer and dryer. (Just remember to press down the little bows right when you take it out of the dryer so they don't roll up.)
Overall Cuteness: Medium I am not totally in love with the looks of this outfit. It has so much dark chocolate brown, that it has a sort of "heavy" feel to it. I'm not a fan of that in baby clothes. I prefer them to have a look that is more light, sweet and baby-like. That said, I do like the terry cloth fabric and the kimono style of the top with the little bow details on the chest. Not bad, but not my favorite outfit. I keep this as more of a staying home outfit.
