Today Fashion Baby is modeling her Little Me pajamas. These are the pajama equivalent of skinny jeans. Skinny Jams! I thought I was ordering these in a large size for later this Spring, but it's a good thing I tried them on her now...

Ok, so these pics were taken when FB first woke up in the morning after the jammies had time to stretch out overnight. As you can see they are still what can best be described as "slim fit". (To be honest I don't think the pics show how tight they really are.)
The length was great, but that was in a 12 month size and Fashion Baby is 6 1/2 months old.
These jammies close with a zipper that runs the length of pajamas down to about half way down the right leg.
I am conflicted about pajamas that close with a zipper. On the plus side, a zipper is much faster to open and close than a series of snaps. However, on the minus side, you have to completely open up the jammies and expose the baby when you want to change a diaper (whereas with snaps you can unsnap only the bottom portion. Nice when you are trying to keep them from waking up too much or for cold mornings.) Also, occasionally zippers can scratch the baby under the chin. (I had this happen with a Halo sleepsack I put FB in. I zipped her in, put her to bed, and when I went in to get her in the morning, she had all these little cuts under her chin from the zipper. It was awful!)
**** Update #1****
So I put FB in these for a second time last night, and when she got up in the morning, she had a big red scratch under her chin from the zipper!!! That's it, no more pajamas with zippers! From here on out Fashion Baby will only have pajamas with snaps!
Here's another pic to show the slim fit of the leg. Again, I don't think it shows it as tight as it is.
On the tag of the pajamas it says that the sleepers should have a close fit because they are not fire resistant. Maybe that's why they cut them so tight. Hmmm, in my opinion, they should still cut them a little more comfortably regardless of their fire retardant status. Let's face it, an extra 1/2 inch of fabric isn't going to make a bit of difference in a fire, but will make a big difference in terms of day to day comfort when a baby is wearing these. Plus, as they are now, these should only be bought for long, skinny babies. What about those cute, chubby little guys?
The fabric is cute but kind of funny. As you can see, there are cherries and flowers labeled as strawberries.
Oh well, I guess it's not the job of pajamas to be educational. :)

The Low Down-
Sizing: Runs extremely tight and on the short side. Check out the sizing charts on their website. (According to their chart FB should be in 9 months, but I can't imagine putting her in anything even smaller than this!)
Price Point: Moderately Low.
Practicality: ***Update #2***LOWEST (changed from Medium). They are practical from the standpoint that they are soft, machine washable and don't inhibit movement in any way, but who wants super tight pajamas? After a second wearing a seam has split in the leg, which makes the quality of these pajamas questionable at best, and FB had a scratch under her chin from the zipper. Pajamas should be their most comfortable and snuggly items of clothing. If they actually get injured from their pajamas, that pretty much puts them at rock bottom on the practicality scale.
Overall Cuteness: They are very cute, though the slim fit takes some getting used to. Their pajamas do come in some pretty fabrics (for boys and girls), but I don't know that they are cute enough to make up for the super tight fit.
